Think. How do you usually greet your husband when he arrives home or enters the room to talk?
We often tell our children to look at us when we talk to
them so we know they are listening and are not thinking of something else. Try to make this a habit with your
husband. When he speaks, stop your hands
and look up at him with a smile and listen completely. If this has not been your habit, notice the
change that will come over him (and you) as it becomes one. After watching you do it repeatedly and
habitually, your children may pick it up naturally. How enjoyable would that be?
